This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Owens Products website. On some pages, you can order products, make requests, and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected on these pages are: name, address, email address, phone number.

We use the information you provide about yourself or your company when placing an order, only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

Return & Refund Policy
Return Statement
All merchandise returned to Owens Products must be initiated within 30 days of original purchase and have an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number or it will be refused and returned to sender. Collect returns will be refused and returned to sender. Items to be returned must be received within 30 calendar days from the issue of the RMA#. After 30 calendar days the RMA is void. All returns must be boxed and shipped as they were originally received including foam and other packing materials, so as not to be damaged in transit. Damage to boxes or product may result in loss of credit for that product. Customer is responsible for return freight, please insure shipment. Returns due to reasons other than Owens Products error will be charged a 25% restock fee. Special orders or discontinued items are not returnable for credit. No credit will be issued for any item that has been installed (unless item is deemed by Owens Products to be under warranty).
Exchange Policy
If you accidentally ordered the wrong item and would like to exchange it, you will only be charged a 10% restock fee for the returned item, plus any additional cost for the new item.
Return Merchandise Authorization
For a RMA#, please send an e-mail with Sales Order Number, Part Number and Reason for return request to sales@owensproducts.com - We will e-mail you instructions within 1-3 business days.

Sales Policy
Credit Terms
All sales are to be paid via credit card, PayPal or paid in advance via certified check or money order.
Freight Policy
All shipments within the continental US are prepaid unless otherwise noted.
Order Policy
All orders are started within 48 hours of receiving, therefore, add-ons will not be allowed after 48 hours of original order entry. In addition, any order cancelled once production has started is subject to normal restock fees.
Freight Claims and Conditions
Always check the condition and number of cartons against the freight bill and packing slip at time of delivery. The customer must note damages and shortages on the delivery receipt at the time of acceptance. Notify Owens Products customer service department immediately upon discovery of discrepancy. All shortages with the shipment must be reported to Owens Products customer service immediately or credit may not be issued. When reporting the shortage, please refer to the invoice or sales order number, item description, part number and carton count.

Price Changes and Specification
Prices are subject to change without notice. Mere possession of any Owens Products price list does not guarantee purchaser the prices or product lines contained therein.
Disclaimer: Due to the large amount of print and text, Owens Products is not liable for inaccurate or misprinted text that may require correction. Corrections may be made at Owens Products discretion. This policy supersedes any or all related preceding policies.
Warranty Statement
Owens Products warrants all products to be free of defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year (Dog Boxes, RaceMates, Mudflaps, Running Boards and Tool Boxes) from date of original Owens Products purchase. This warranty covers the cost of the defective part and not the cost of removal, installation, painting or other incidental or consequential charges or damages. This warranty is void if any damage to the product is due to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or any other use contrary to the instructions accompanying this product. Warranty will be pro-rated based on the length of time. All warranty returns must be issued an RMA# before they can be returned to Owens Products. Credit will be issued upon inspection of the product. Any product found to be non-defective will not receive credit and will be offered to be returned to the sender at their expense. Product will be scrapped 10 days after sender notification. Owens Products paint is not covered by this warranty. See Paint Policy. Shipping damage is not considered a warranty. See Freight Claims.

Warranty Claim
To begin a warranty claim, you must have a Product Registration Card on file with us. All warranty claims must begin with an e-mail including a picture of the damage. Please e-mail the pictures, a description of the damage, a copy of the receipt showing purchase date, along with all contact information to: Owens Products E-Mail
Missing Parts
Please check all packages for missing parts at the time of receipt. When parts are missing, often times it’s the result of the package breaking open (and resealed) in transit. We must determine whether any missing parts were accidentally left out (warranty claim) or if the package was damaged in transit (freight claim). If you have missing parts, please send an e-mail including Sales Order Number, description of what’s missing and a picture showing the condition of the package to:
Product Registration Cards
Product Registration Cards are included in every order. All products must be registered within 14 days of receipt. You may:

Shipping Policy
Ground Shipping
Many of our products are shipped FedEx Ground. Rates are based on package dimensions and location.
Freight Policy
Large items must be shipped via LTL (truck freight). We will choose the trucking company that is best for your location. Rates are based on weight and location. For the best rates, please provide a business name and business address, this can not only save you money, but speed up delivery time. In some cases, when a business address isn't available, it may be best to ship to the closest trucking terminal for customer pick-up. Residential deliveries will incur a residential fee and requires the customer to be present upon delivery.
Prepaid freight order amounts vary depending on location. Additional charges such as residential delivery, delivery appointment fees, restricted delivery, liftgate fees, guaranteed delivery date, etc. are not covered by or Owens Products.

Customer Pickup Policy
Occasionally a customer lives near our manufacturing facility. In this case you can choose to come pick up your order. Once an order has been produced, you have 30 days to make arrangements for customer pickup. Orders left in the warehouse for more than 30 days will be cancelled and charged a 25% restock fee. If prior arrangements have been made with us to keep the order for longer than 30 days, a storage fee may apply. Upon pickup, it is required for the customer to check the product and sign a packing slip before leaving our factory.

Freight Conditions and Claims

MAP Policy
Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Statement
Beginning February 6, 2017
Owens Products, Inc. has implemented a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy for all products made available for sale in the USA and Canada. A reseller must be an authorized Owens Products dealer in order to sell Owens Products items. All authorized resellers’ advertised prices must be at or above Owens Products’ MAP as shown on the company’s price list. Owens Products dealers are free to set their own pricing as long as it is not in violation of this MAP Policy.
1. Owens Products’ MAP policy applies to all methods of advertising and promotion, including but not limited to the following:
- Print ads (inserts, magazines, catalogs, newspapers)
- Broadcast ads (radio, television, web cast, caller-on-hold recordings, etc.)
- Direct Mail
- E-mail Marketing
- Internet (banners, category or product pages, shopping comparison sites, third-party sites)
- Internet auction sites
- Internet auction sites
- In store advertising (price tags, banners, displays, etc.)
2. Owens Products can elect to offer past model year’s product outside of this policy. In these special instances, Owens Products will issue a communication, informing authorized dealers of the special situation.
3. Non-compliance to the Owens Products MAP policy shall result in the following:
- 1st violation: written warning to fix the non-compliance within 48 hours from the date of notice.
- 2nd violation: written warning to fix the non-compliance within 24 hours from the date of notice.
- 3rd violation: written notice that Owens Products items will not be available to ship until the non-compliance has been remedied.
- 4th violation: written notice that the dealer’s account has been suspended. After reviewing the dealer’s response, Owens Products may reinstate or terminate the dealer’s account.
If a dealer violates the MAP Policy for a weekend sale, returning to compliance by Monday morning, they will receive a written warning for the 1st violation. A 2nd violation will result in written notice that the dealer’s account has been suspended. After reviewing the dealer’s response, Owens Products may reinstate or terminate the dealer’s account.
4. Administration of the MAP policy:
- Owens Products will regularly monitor its authorized dealers’ adherence to the MAP Policy.
- Owens Products’ MAP policy is subject to change without notice.
- Owens Products will communicate any changes to its MAP policy by written correspondence.
